-~~Mastering Drupal (for me & my cousin's site)~~: Done.
-~~Trying out Nutch and eventually attempt to own a little portion of the search market, and if possible, own the entire search market :D~~: Mnaaah, I'd rather join Google..
-~~Stick to some french websites that I will visit daily to keep up with my French skills.~~: Let's keep this going..
-~~Send an admission letter to Stanford University.~~: Decided to wait a couple of years.
-~~Learn chinese (or at least, learning the basics...)~~: I did a little bit Japanese and Russian instead..
-~~Lots of other stuff~~: I sure did!

Sergey Brin Poem

Sergey is a grad student at Stanford (computer science). He does data mining and (with his friend Larry) developed a search engine GOOGLE which he claims is the best. He turned 25 this August (1998). On that occasion Michael Brin, his father, wrote the following poem.

You are growing stronger
In body, spirit and mind.
I am getting older
Leaving decades behind.

You are tough, you mine data,
You surf first and think later,
And your crawler fast as light
Wanders madly in the night.

You work hard to squeeze a thesis
From the world wide web of feces.
You live abroad on the sunny coast

I decided to create a new blog to talk about Google, because this blogspot has a kinda unrelated name, my own name, so that's why.

Google addiction

Hey folks
Back again ;)
Since I got fascinated by Google, I'll dedicate this blog to Google. So what kind of posts could you expect? New google stuff, the google labs, well...actually as many as possible. I'll try to keep this blog up-to-date by now.
Many ppl don't really know what Google is. If I would tell them that I could talk about Google for houres, they would probably look with a weird face at me. Google is just a stupid popular search engine, so what to tell about it?? That's often ppl's reaction. So I'll probably post some noob posts to give you a better idea of what Google really is.
I'm thinking about registering a new .com domain name .. soon, for everything about Google. Until then, I'll use this blog instead.
So stay tuned, lol.
